The Locavore (Local-eater) is Stirling’s fantastic award winning Wine and Tapas Bar based on the principles of the “100 Mile Diet”. Wherever possible everything we serve is grown or produced within a 100 mile radius.
If not local, family farmed; if not family farmed, organic; if not organic, fair trade.
Following these basic principles allows us to save food miles, and champion this amazingly abundant and beautiful region. Arguably one of the most productive and diverse in produce areas in Australia. Our wine list is 100% Adelaide Hills, and is a great example of how classy and exciting this burgeoning wine region is.
